Toronto Greenhouse is a business forum for the "Green" sector. Environmentally focused companies and friends of the environment gather to mingle and make new connections.

Our mission is to foster growth in the environmentally friendly business community.

The Final Toronto Greenhouse event for 2009! Our first annual holiday party will feature presenters to help you "green" your own holiday events:

KELLY DRENNAN, Founder & President : Fashion Takes Action.  http://www.fashiontakesaction.com/

Kelly Drennan is a true social entrepreneur, devoted to making change within an industry known for its many social and environmental challenges: energy use, solid waste disposal, release of chemicals in waste water, fair trade and fair labour, and the use of toxic chemicals that harm human health and the environment. Fashion Takes Action is a members based organization that provides services to the fashion industry, while promoting awareness to the consumer. Kelly is also the President of Third Eye media, a successful public relations firm that includes a range of fashion, lifestyle, and retail clients with a sustainable focus. Kelly will discuss sustainable fashion and products for the holidays. She will also launch her newest initiative, an eco-friendly holiday shopping campaign in Toronto.

ROB GRAND, Owner - Grassroots Stores http://www.grassrootsstore.com/

Rob Grand is the owner of Grassroots Environmental Products, Canada’s largest green lifestyle retailer. In his 18 years of environmental work, Rob has become a leading advocate, spokesperson, and educator on green lifestyle products and issues. He has served as a director of several non-profit environmental organizations, such as the Toronto Environmental Alliance, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, Earthroots Foundation, Friends of the Don East, and the Toronto Recycling Action Committee. He currently volunteers as a director with the Coalition for a Green Economy, Green Enterprise Toronto, and the Local Flavour Plus Foundation.
